Robert Franklin Worley (b. 1919, Riverside, Calif.-d. July 23, 1968), U.S. Air Force officer, graduated from pilot training and received his commission in 1941. During World War II he participated in the North African, Sicily, and Italian campaigns and Asia-Pacific Theater campaigns, flying 120 aerial missions with 215 combat hours. Herbert Butler Powell was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. He was commissioned into the Army in 1926. During World War II (WWII), he served in the European Theater of Operations (ETO); was a battalion commander of the 32nd Infantry, 1941-1942; was chief of staff (CofS), 75th Infantry Division, 1943-1945, and was deputy, G-1 First (1st) Army Europe, 1945-1946.
